**Highways Operative/**Cyclic Maintenance**

**£9.90-£11.00 per hour TBC DOE**

Our client Cormac are looking for an experienced Highways Operative to join their team carrying out cyclic maintenance throughout Cornwall. The role will be a temporary position in the first instance, there maybe the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:
Responsibilities include all aspects of highway maintenance works including routine and cyclic maintenance activities, drainage, kerbing, white lining, litter picking, pothole and patch repair, footway reconstruction, bollard repair and installation, fencing, strimming and maintaining overgrown vegetation, all to a high standard.

**This role will focus on the drainage aspect of the role working in a 2-person gang**

This role is physically demanding and you will be expected to work outside in all weathers

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Previous experience of working on highways
- Drainage experience desirable
- CSCS desirable
- Full clean driving licence (Class 2 preferred)

**Salary**: £9.90-£11.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
