Sellick Partnership are currently working with a Public Sector organisation to recruit a Management Accountant on a 3 - 6 basis. This is a great opportunity to work with an exciting organisation.

The Management Accountant:

- The Management Accountant is responsible for supporting the Senior Management Accountant and BDU finance manager in delivering high quality and timely financial management services to all budget holders within a Business Delivery Unit (BDU)/ Corporate Services.
- Providing support to the Senior/Finance Manager and budget managers in the development and delivery of the BDU/ Directorate Annual Plan
- Production of the monthly BDU/Directorate management reports including financial forecasts
- Intelligence gathering and investigation of service issues to advise on financial risk and options for decision making with direction from senior finance staff
- Provide costing and financial analysis for service development and business cases with direction from senior finance staff
- Supervision of junior BDU/ support services management accounts staff
- Leadership role within the finance team; able to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team using matrix working to deliver the BDU/ directorate objectives

The Management Accountant must have:

- Previous Public Sector experience
- Ideally have an accounting qualification
