**The Background**
**The Role**
As a General Operator you will carry out manufacturing and self-certification tasks in accordance with product certification procedures and ensuring work is completed to the defined workmanship standards and to the agreed timescale. This will include carryingout detailed standard assembly, contributing to the efficient movement of work and information in the manufacturing area. As a general operator you may work across a number of departments that might include Micro Electronics, Looming, PEC Assembly, Plasticsand Stores.
You
**To be a successful General Operator you will have**:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the aerospace or defence sector
- The ability to read and interpret layouts
- Microelectronics experience
- Must be comfortable reviewing work under a microscope for significant periods of time
