THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Renewable Development, the successful applicant will provide clear engineering leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff and project teams to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills. You will manageengineering excellence within our green gas solutions project portfolio, with an aspiration to exceed customer quality expectations, whilst driving to maximise and optimise efficient engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities will include;
- Lead the development of biomethane engineering solutions within the Renewable development business stream.
- Drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the Engineering function to ensure that all products are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards
- Lead design functional safety and quality of service delivery, striving for the best and safest class products.
- Lead biomethane plant factory testing and verification to improve, validate, plant
- Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders, customers, manufacturing partners, sales and IT regarding technical support of their activities.
- Manage teams and projects across the biomethane business.
- Ensure design related Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitate, direct and drive implementation of Lean Business strategy

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- You will have technical skills and job knowledge/experience pursuant to the position and will have:_
- Expert knowledge in biomethane technology, gas metering, gas quality analysis and pressure control systems
- Experienced in product development and assembly
- A Functional Safety Expert Practitioner to a recognised assurance standard,
- Skilled in PLC communication protocols
- Experience with DSEAR assessment and verification process
- Be conversant with technical and project design documentation, together with design assurance within UK onshore gas industry.
- Qualifications:_
- You will hold a degree Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and will be working towards Chartered status
