**Professional Technology Officer - NI Civil Service**
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Professional Technology Officer (PTO Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract of 12 months, with possibility of extension.
- Pay Rate - £14.92 per/hr
- Location - DfI, Transport and Road Asset Management / Parking Enforcement Management Unit
- Benefits - 37 days holiday per annum
- Hours - 37 hours per week

Responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring the performance of the Enforcement Contractor (NSL) in their area by running and reviewing reports on their performance.
- To investigate and respond to operational parking enforcement matters from members of the public in their area.
- On-site inspections / surveys as required to support the Penalty Processing Unit respond to a parking ticket challenge.
- To liaise and collaborate with the local Roads Division on the installation of new parking measures / amendments to existing measures.
- Attending meetings and assisting management as required.
- Handling phone calls from the public on operational matters.

Essential Experience/Qualifications
- Good written and communication skills.
- Experience of using MS Office suite esp. Word and Excel.
- Desire to learn.
- Running reports from computer systems.
- Producing work to deadlines.
- Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle to permit them to carry out their duties.

Desired Experience/Qualifications
- Experience in Traffic Management.
- Working with a Contractor.
- Being able to work and learn independently.
- Knowledge of the work of DfI Roads.

**Salary**: Up to £14.92 per hour
