Job Title: Disc Jockey

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain a lively and engaging atmosphere at events through music selection and DJ skills.
- Set up and operate DJ equipment, including turntables, mixers, speakers, and microphones.
- Mix and blend music seamlessly to ensure a smooth transition between songs.
- Read the crowd and adjust the music selection to cater to different audiences and events.
- Interact with guests and take song requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with event organizers to understand their specific music preferences and requirements.
- Adhere to all copyright laws and licensing regulations when playing copyrighted music.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the event.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Disc Jockey or DJing at various events.
- In-depth knowledge of different music genres and ability to create playlists that suit different occasions.
- Proficient in using DJ equipment, including turntables, mixers, speakers, and microphones.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and take song requests effectively.
- Ability to read the crowd and adjust the music selection accordingly.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality for events.
- Attention to detail to ensure smooth transitions between songs.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 4-8 per week

**Salary**: £16.00-£30.00 per hour
