**Location**: Various locations across the UK
**Salary**: Commission-only - earning potential up to £65,000 per annum based on performance
**Contract Type**: Full-time, permanent
**Reports to**: Fundraising Team Leader

Job Overview

As a Door-to-Door Fundraiser, you will be the face of the charity, engaging with members of the public at their homes to inspire them to support our life-saving work. You will build meaningful connections, share our mission, and encourage individuals to become regular donors. This is a rewarding, commission-only role for charismatic, self-motivated individuals who thrive in a performance-driven environment and are passionate about making a difference.

Key Responsibilities
- **Engage with the Public**: Visit households across designated areas to promote the charity’s mission and secure regular donations through direct debit or other giving methods.
- **Deliver Compelling Pitches**: Clearly and passionately communicate the impact of the charity’s work, tailoring your approach to connect with diverse audiences.
- **Meet Fundraising Targets**: Work towards individual and team fundraising goals, maintaining high standards of professionalism and enthusiasm to maximize commission earnings.
- **Build Relationships**: Create trust and rapport with potential donors to foster long-term support for the charity.
- **Record Keeping**: Accurately log donor interactions and commitments using provided tools and systems, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- **Represent the Charity**: Act as an ambassador, upholding our values and maintaining a positive, professional image at all times.
- **Stay Informed**: Keep up to date with the charity’s campaigns, initiatives, and impact stories to share with potential donors.

Skills and Experience
- **Essential**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Highly self-motivated with a resilient and positive attitude, able to handle rejection and thrive in a commission-only role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and travelling within assigned areas.
- **Desirable**:

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or fundraising (door-to-door or similar).
- Knowledge of the charity sector or a passion for our cause.
- Basic understanding of GDPR and ethical fundraising practices.

Working Conditions
- This role involves door-to-door work, requiring travel within assigned areas (travel expenses covered where applicable).
