Human by nature. Being a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play an important part of the growing team in Overseal, South Derbyshire. You will lead a team of inbound warehouse operators responsible for operating material handling equipment while performing tasks to include shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, relocating and stacking products. You will report to the Distribution and Warehouse Supervisor. The hours are 6am-2pm and 1.45pm-9.45pm alternating weeks, Monday to Friday. **You will**: Oversee the inbound process and deal with issues Manage stock movements and transport to and from external warehouses. Work with the planning and production teams to ensure the correct stock is on site Partner with Quality Control for efficient raw material sampling Manage the picking and supply of raw materials to production Manage processes for receiving, storing and issuing of packaging and goods outside of the manufacturing process Finished Goods stock management Buy and Sell transactions Consolidation and capacity resolution Co-ordinate cycle counts Monitor daily check sheets e.g. knife, FLT, PPE, and daily "walk around check" Manage teams, deliver team briefs, training and staff absence management Identify capability gaps and conduct training to close them. Promote the development and promotion of identified talents with and outside of Logistics. Ensure operations are conducted in compliance with company EHS guidelines and public safety regulations. Monitor the maintenance of warehouse installations and equipment by keeping them clean, safe and operational and reporting service requests. Supply samples to the Quality Control and Customer Sample teams Load, unload, move, stack and stage products and materials in dedicated areas using a fork lift, clamp truck or other power equipment. Complete other tasks assigned by the Supervisor **You have**: High school education or General Education Diploma equivalency. At least 6 months of experience in people management. Three years work experience in a warehouse environment. Forklift and other powered material handling equipment licences Experience with inventory management systems (e.g. SAP).
