When you work for the University of Central Lancashire, you’ll be part of a thriving community of talent that’s united in a common commitment to transform lives. We do this by delivering an outstanding educational experience and creating prosperity and opportunity in the communities we serve. Whatever your role, you’ll be playing a vital part in helping us achieve our vision.

**About the role**:
This role is part of our Degree Apprenticeship team within the Student Returns and Data Management division of Academic Registry to deliver a full and responsive service to support the core functions and processes in relation to the student record work.

The role involves providing essential support to our service delivery, with a primary focus on student records using various systems. Drawing on your experience of working with databases you will identify and rectify inconsistencies as well as opportunities for data quality enhancements. You will support learners through Registration, assist with their module queries and process learner change of circumstances in accordance with relevant procedures. You will resolve Academic learner record queries and support progression activity, forming strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the University to ensure processes and systems are continuously aligned with business and statutory requirements.

**About you**:
The successful applicant will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning and the ability to work consistently under pressure, prioritise work and meet deadlines.

The role will be primarily focused on providing support to learners and working with relevant stakeholders within the University with a view to ensuring compliance with external regulatory requirements with regard to learner data and information, maintaining learner records and thereby, supporting accurate data returns to funding bodies.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.

**What we can offer you**:

Our safeguarding policy and safer recruitment procedure outlines our approach, alongside other internal policies, procedures and guidance which can be found on our Safeguarding page.
