A rare opportunity has arisen to join our team of Night Porters. The Dalmeny Hotel, originally opened in 1946, has a very good reputation for excellent customer service. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has previous experience in the hospitality industry to join our team. As our Night Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service throughout the night. Working alongside the Night team, you will need to think on your feet, proactively solving problems and be versatile, supporting all departments. This is a really varied role, where you will be involved in every step of our customer journey, from check in through to preparing room service orders and serving on the bar.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Job holder will do all tasks within his/her level of skill and ability:

- Interacts with guests
- Reports directly to the Night Manager on all issues affecting the department.
- To welcome, check-in, check-out and wish good bye any guests using Guestline Rezlynx PMS and handling guests billing.
- To clean public areas - reception, bar, restaurant and toilets, and back of house areas ensuring they meet the hotel standards.
- Have a visible presence within the hotel to ensure that all customers request and queries are responded to promptly and effectively.
- Deal with guest queries and needs in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Conduct fire and floor walks to ensure guest security.
- To work closely with the hotels management team to ensure compliance with all hygiene and health and safety procedures.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
