The School of Business was established in August 2019 as an independent School, the tenth in the university, having been previously part of the School of Social Sciences. The School continues to build on strong growth in student numbers, student experience and improving research excellence.

We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a **Employer Engagement Officer (School of Business),** to build on our growing relationships with employers and external partners in order to create and develop opportunities for Business students to enhance their employability.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious team and to engage with a wide range of internal colleagues and external stakeholders in order to contribute to an enhanced student experience.
Your priorities will include:

- Establish and maintain relationships with a wide range of employers, employer networks, professional bodies and external placement providers in order to achieve agreed targets for employer engagement and placement opportunities
- Manage, monitor and develop student placement provision within the School
- Research and pursue leads to generate new employer contacts and placement opportunities as student numbers increase
- Work closely with colleagues to grow and develop employer involvement in curricular and extra-curricular careers & employability provision
- Facilitate and foster stakeholder events and activities that will source and create opportunities for UDSB students, knowledge exchange, and executive education

- Proven track record of relationship building with multiple stakeholders
- An understanding of student and graduate recruitment and employability issues
- An ability to work flexibly across team environments
- Willingness to use own initiative and provide innovative solutions to problems
