The Job holder will be viewed as an autonomous practitioner responsible for the assessment of care need and the development, implementation and evaluation of complex programmes of patient care, establishing evidence based practice for patients who present with undifferentiated, undiagnosed minor injuries and minor illness. The post holder will deliver enhanced nursing skills within complex patient care pathways and will undertake non-medical prescribing to deliver high standards of care. At Band 7 the post holder will be expected to have the relevant experience and qualifications. At band 6 there is the expectation that the post holder will access the relevant training and gain experience within the role.
