The Department of Psychology at The University of Sheffield is among the largest in the UK and has a vibrant research and study environment. We are recognised as being one of the best places in the world to study psychology (Times Higher Education World Subject Rankings 2021) and over 92% of our research was judged to be world-leading or internationally excellent during the most recent REF. At undergraduate level, we offer a Single Honours BSc in Psychology. At postgraduate level, we offer a range of MSc courses (including Psychological Research with Advanced Statistics and with Data Science, Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience, Human Neuroimaging and Cognitive Neuroscience and Systems Neuroscience), applied clinical training courses and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. We have over 150 students registered for higher degrees by research, and over 200 postgraduate taught students.
