**The contracted hours for this role are-** 40 hrs per week (Part Time)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their purchases.
- Develop thorough product knowledge to offer helpful advice and recommendations on wood flooring products.
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints promptly, resolving issues or offering additional help.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with colleagues regarding customer requirements and orders for delivery.
- Ensure all customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment, keeping displays neat and restocking shelves as necessary.
- Recommend stock orders within the area of responsibility and maintain excellent levels of merchandising and housekeeping.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing customer orders.
- Check goods received from suppliers against delivery notes and purchase orders, noting discrepancies or damages.
- Ensure the high levels of housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform additional duties as reasonably required by your manager or supervisor.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

- Sales-focused with a strong ability to identify customer needs.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (preferred)
