iDirect support people who have a learning disability, autism and mental health, to live in their own homes in the community. Each person has a package of support that is unique and designed around them to ensure they have a life they have reason to value. We are looking for colleagues who share our values and ethos to support an individual in the Salisbury area.
P loves to access the community daily to engage in her structured activity planner that supports her health and wellbeing. Activities include, swimming, visiting animal farms/sanctuaries, peer clubs, biking and family visits. A equally enjoys being at home and engaging in home activities as well as being in regular contact with her family and spending time with them.
Key skills we are looking for in you;
- Previous experience of supporting people with a learning disability, Pathological Demand Avoidance and Autism
- Previous experience of supporting people with a mental health condition
- Solution focused approach
- Patience and resilience
- Trauma informed approach to supporting people who may display behaviour of concern.
- A full UK driving license.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 - 42 per week
