Credit Controller

Our client, a growing logistics company, are seeking an experienced Credit Controller or Accounts Receivable Assistant for their busy accounts team - a core & senior role within the department

**Job Title**: Credit Controller

**Location**:Callington

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday 08.15 to 17.00 with a 1-hour break

**Salary**: £24, 000 - £27, 000 plus (dependent on experience)

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining the sales ledger
- Preparing collection and billing information
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries quickly and to ensure payments are received within agreed terms
- Liaising with management to keep them informed of any payment issues
- Allocating payments as they're received
- Invoice reconciliation
- Ensuring the correct credit insurance cover is obtained on all clients
- Updating and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases as well as ad hoc administrative tasks
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Ability to build strong working relationships and get things over the line
- A good team player who will be willing to assist team members when required
- Quick learner who will easily adapt to a bespoke software package
