**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced plasterer to assist our client with solar installation duties in Glasgow

As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the renewable energy sector by installing solar energy systems for residential and commercial properties. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring that solar panels are installed efficiently and safely, contributing to the transition towards sustainable energy solutions.

**Duties**
- Install solar panels on rooftops and ground-mounted systems according to specifications.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar systems.
- Dig trenches for electrical wiring and other necessary installations.
- Use power tools and hand tools to assemble and install solar components.
- Perform welding tasks as required for structural support.
- Ensure all installations comply with local regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within set timelines.
- 7AM to 5PM (Weekend work available, x.1.5 pay rate)
- On-Call Rota - After 5PM **(£50 bonus on rota, £100 if called out & x1.5 pay rate)**

**Skills**
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to installation tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand system components and their functions.
- Basic electrical skills for wiring connections and troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to dig trenches safely and efficiently as part of the installation process.
- Experience with welding is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

**Drivers Licence Essential. Must be over the age of 21.**
