Our client, a successful manufacturing company based in Nuneaton, is looking for Finance Manager to join their team. The business is showing record revenue and profits have been increasing, with a turnover that is heading towards £5m per annum. Althoughthe core business channels are in the UK and Ireland, they also export to Europe and Africa, and can offer and interesting and diverse role for an experienced accountant.
- Managing all finance and accounting operations
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with HMRC reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Managing purchasing channels with the production Manager.
- Train, Manage and Develop other members of staff within the financial and purchasing department.

**Skills Required**:

- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or FMCG environment, preferably with management experience.
- Part Qual/Qual Accountant ( ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT level 4 ) but QBE will be considered
- Previous experience of managing an accounts team
- Solid financial accounting/controlling experience.
- Computer literate with advanced Excel skills
- Able to communicate effectively on all levels to financial and non-financial audiences.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise own work and work of others to meet deadlines and achieve targets in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Commercially aware with strong influencing skills
