**Trade Store Assistant**

**Location**:Fitzherbert Rd, Farlington, Portsmouth PO6 1RU

**Salary**:£23,000 - £26,000 (Depending on experience)

**About the role**: Are you looking for an opportunity to join an enthusiastic team and interact with our customers face to face on a daily basis?

This role is primarily responsible to serve customers in store, as well as general housekeeping such as checking goods in, stocking up and cleaning in the store and warehouse. Occasionally situations may arise that require the post holder to perform otherduties or tasks as requested by the Trade Store Manager.

**Main Role/ Responsibilities**:

- Serving customers at the Trade Counter
- Picking goods for customers collecting
- Ensuring a well-stocked and tidy Trade Counter
- Housekeeping of the Trade Store/Warehouse
- Always Adhering to the Health and Safety policies and procedures, supporting the Trade Store Manager with the H&S commitments to the Company.
- Assisting the trade store manager with stock takes
- Checking off deliveries/stock transfers and putting into stock
- Completing relevant paperwork to ensure accurate stock control
- In addition, all employees are expected to work within the terms of their contract of employment and adhere to strukta Group policies, values and required ways of working

**Knowledge/ Skills Required**:

- Construction Industry Experience would be an advantage
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Good interpersonal teamwork, collaboration skills and Safe Handling Awareness.
- IT Literate
- Previous face to face customer service experience/ strong communication skills.
