Sales Optimisation Manager

Our client is an international market leader in the development of smarter buildings through the provision of innovative outcomes which combine critical services including Fire and Security, HVAC, Refrigeration and other key digital solutions. Group organicgrowth is strong, and they areundergoing an exciting journey to complement that growth by targeting and acquiring strategic partners to enhance their offerings in key verticals, key locations and with key solutions.
They are looking to appoint a new position of SALES OPTIMISATION MANAGER to work with their General Managers and Sales Heads. The key objective is to bring about incremental sales growth by ensuring optimal timing of sales integration in terms of processand of key personnel from their new acquisitions.
You must be a versatile sales leader, used to working to demanding targets and deadlines, leading, and influencing sales teams. It’s fast paced, working across different markets, and providing different solutions across a variety of different stakeholdersto promote growth. Whilst the role does not currently directly lead a team, you will be required to manage a variety of roles in different functions as many acquisitions will not align to corporate structures.
You will need to work empathetically with newly onboarded acquisitions to ensure appropriate paced integration. This is an enterprise stakeholder manager role where your leadership and indirect influence will enable and motivate sales teams to excel andoverachieve.
**Job Title: Sales Optimisation ManagerReporting to: Business Development Director** **Key responsibilities**:
- Engage with General Managers and Sales Leaders to understand acquisition timelines, challenges and create onboarding and integration plans.
- Lead team meetings to identify and promote synergies across the acquired businesses and identify best practice and process along with agreed timelines
- Create cadence and reporting metrics to ensure on time delivery of the integration planning
- Work with the acquisitions to imbed Group processes and practices within the agreed parameters
- Leverage the whole Group portfolio to engage with the client at an enterprise level
- Understand stakeholder needs and develop outcome-based solutions ensuring sensitive management of personnel whilst remaining focused on incremental growth opportunities
- Assemble winning teams of core members and facilitators
- Proactively drive sales teams and stakeholders through opportunity management and keep a strong tension on the sales fundamentals
- Utilise Salesforce CRM to manage all activity and planning around the opportunities

- Proven experience and success in matrix management and/or working in an M & A environment
- Ideally, an understanding of either building solutions / digital services or other relevant industry experience
- Ability to understand demand, and support in resource and capacity planning for the sales teams as well as providing role transparency and identifying resource and capability opportunity within the sales structures.
- Strong emotional intelligence to ensure a collaborative approach to the onboarding and integration of newly acquired businesses whilst also identifying strategies to drive incremental growth.
