To support the operations of our London (Dartford) branch, Selwood have an immediate need for a LGV driver to join us.

Our drivers are a pivotal part of our branch operations collecting and delivering our pumps and equipment to our customers sites which vary from construction sites to sewage works sites through to sites of flooding. No day in the life of a driver is the same and come rain or shine our wagon's take our pumps where they need to go. If a varied, busy day that will get you out of the cab, is what you are looking for then a driver position with Selwood could be for you.

**Tasks and responsibilities for our Drivers**:

- To ensure the loading of securing of our Pumps and associated equipment is safe and secure with the use of the lorry mounted crane.
- To carry out daily maintenance checks of the Lorry and to report any defects promptly.
- Work closely with the branch staff to understand daily requirements for delivery and collection.
- To deliver and collect Pumps and associated equipment to and from customer sites in a safe and secure manner, assisting with the moving of equipment from area's of site to ensure timely loading / offloading of equipment.
- To complete all relevant site paperwork and completion of working using tablet system.
- To assist Branch team at branch site within the yard if required
- To take part in the call out rota for branch (rota dependent on branch)

**Requirements**:

- Full LGV driving license
- Hiab - (Essential due to the nature of our work and equipment)
- Proven work history in construction / building supplies delivery advantageous
- Physically fit to climb up onto lorry bed and to ensure secure loading and strapping down of load.
- Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Driver Qualification card and/or Periodic CPC Certification
- Ability to commitment to take part in branch call out rota
