At Rutland Hall Hotel we are an ambitious bunch and we have made great progress through our refurbishment project with more areas of our 4-star resort open for business, we are looking for like-minded people with bags of character to join our team We want people people You’ve got to like being around others, smiling and chatting because you like people, not because someone told you to smile and chat

Our Main Reception is based in the beautifully restored Old Hall on the Estate, and we are now seeking a **Receptionist **to join our team, someone who will leave a lasting first impression on our guests upon arrival, ensure they have a memorable stay whilst with us and give a heartfelt goodbye upon departure.

**Our Receptionist will**:

- Welcome and check-in guests into our newly refurbished 66-bedroom hotel
- Have a pro-active approach to guest requests and requirements by ensuring all guest specifics are profiled and actioned where possible
- Ensure guests accounts are accurate and that they are presented with a clear and correct invoice at the end of their visit
- Answer the telephone within a timely manner and ensure excellent customer service in all interactions
- Undertake general reception administration and support as required and be proactive in approach

**Our ideal Receptionist will ideally have**:
Previous experience within hospitality Reception

Experience of Reception systems, ideally Guestline although training will be provided

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

Responsible approach for guests' enquiries and challenges

Excellent communication skills & fluency in English

Enthusiasm for learning and development.

High personal standards

Shifts will consist of 8.5 hours, (half an hour unpaid for meal break) straight shifts equating to 40 hours per week; shifts will include bank holidays and weekends, so flexibility is required.
