Working for this award-winning infrastructure solutions business as Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll support a variety of different areas within the business in meeting regulations and making changes to improve H+S across its different sectors. You’ll work closely with senior managers and the group Head of Health and Safety to drive data led changes within the organisation.

**Salary **- Circa £50,000 Per Annum + Company Van + Fuel Card

**Location** - Birmingham + Occasional travel to sites

**Role Type** - Permanent / Full Time / 40 Hours Per Week / Mon-Fri

**The Role**

The role sees you engaging with employees, clients, and customers to oversee H+S processes, enhance operational awareness, and promote best practices. You will collaborate with the Head of Health and Safety to define strategies, set targets, and identify improvement opportunities, while also assisting Directors and the Senior Management Team in interpreting H&S trends, concerns, and client needs, both from head office and on-site.

You will manage a schedule of site visits for audits, conduct inspections, and provide safety training. As well as this, you'll contribute H+S expertise to the Bid department, deputise for the Group HSQE Manager as required, and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners to align on safety strategies. The role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement and serving as a primary point of contact for client feedback on safety and competency issues.

**Essentials**
- Previous experience of in a H+S Advisor/Manager role within a site-based environment on rail / construction projects.
- Environmental, Social Values, Sustainability & Carbon Footprint reporting experience
- Experience working with clients and representing the organisation within client environments
- Knowledge and understanding of a Behaviour Based Safety Programme
