**Job Overview**

**Fish & Farm - Social - Larder - Deli**is a bustling shop offering fish, meat, coffee, deli products, tray bakes and an array of homemade dishes dedicated to providing the freshest and highest quality artisan products to our community. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers as they enter the shop and provide assistance as needed.
- Maintain a tidy and organised shop environment.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling products when appropriate.
- Prepare & serve from the deli counter for sit-in or takeaway.
- Prepare & serve coffee/drinks for sit-in or takeaway.
- Operate till and handle transactions accurately.
- Restock shelves and monitor stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service and smooth shop operations.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations while serving a variety of deli items, ensuring freshness and quality at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Always adhere to company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of culinary techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to engage with customers positively and provide exceptional service.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing demands in the deli section.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays.

**Experience**
- 1 year's experience in Retail Assistance required.
- 1 year's experience in Hospitality/Customer Service preferred.
