**About the Role**:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join a fast-paced and forward-thinking business as a People Partner. This is a diverse role providing a range of People services, with the goal of driving best practice, supporting our people and continuing to make BJSS a great place to work. In this role you'd be expected to provide high quality, confident and efficient advisory support, as well as managing a range of people projects (ranging from small initiatives to widescale change), alongside the rest of the People team.
- Use expert people knowledge and strategic awareness to offer pragmatic, clear and commercially balanced People advice and guidance.
- Support managers with the management of employee relations cases (e.g. performance management, disciplinary, grievance etc).
- Work with the rest of the People team and the wider People community to define operational and strategic needs within the People space.
- Lead and deliver People projects - from initial concept, to post-implementation business-as-usual.
- Design and delivering training to people-leaders on a variety of internal processes and wider HR topics.
- Maintain and build-upon our learning content catalogue for people-related topics (such as, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, personal development, communication, and team/leadership skills).
- Support the Operations team with business-as-usual People processes when required (e.g. salary and bonus review, benefits administration, payroll change information)
- Review and advise on change to People processes to drive efficiency and best practice.
- Monitor and update handbook policies, ensuring these are in line with the current legislation.

**About You**:

- Be an experienced People/HR Partner/Manager who is accustomed to working within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Have developed and delivered People/Change projects, end to end.
- Be confident at offering pragmatic employee relations advice to people-leaders, with the ability to lead in the management of cases where necessary.
- Have a strong knowledge of employment law and the ability to translate this into clear, usable information/actions.
- Have the experience and confidence to work independently - though this role is very much part of a team, the ability to self-motivate, undertake work, and make decisions autonomously is essential.
- Highly adaptable; open to change and willing to 'muck in' to get the job done.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; the ability to build relationships, understand needs, and offer considered guidance.
- Experience of running workshops or training sessions on People (HR) related topics.
