As a 1:1 LSA at this school, you will be supporting the progress of a Year 3 boy who has a statement of ASD.

About the Role
In this exciting 1:1 LSA position, you will be working closely with a Year 3 boy who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is verbal and can participate in whole-class lessons with the support of an adult. He also attends targeted intervention by himself and withgroups as he is behind in the curriculum. This child does need support with emotional regulation so the 1:1 LSA will need to work on this with him. He really needs someone who can support his development, integrate him within class and manage the learningin bite-size, manageable chunks for him to produce the best he can.
