**AV Technician, based in Northampton, £28,000 - £35,000 plus excellent benefits.** A confident Audio Visual Technician is required for a large-scale, complex organisation in Northampton on a permanent basis. The role is 2nd line support for AV events and AV based calls. The post-holder will join a friendly established team and enjoy workingwithin a dynamic and fast-paced environment. They are looking for someone who is good at problem solving, who can build strong customer relationships and who is proficient in AV setups and systems. The AV Technician will work across the entire site in Northampton and work with multiple teams and departments - no week will be the same The organisation use cutting edge technology and are in the process of setting up a VR environment so the post-holderwill gain some good experience in this space too. There are also plenty of training opportunities with MS exams and certification and specific training within the AV space. **Key skills and background**: - Demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience of AV technologies and controlling systems - Knowledge and experience of IT Network architectures and cable infrastructures - Demonstrable experience of troubleshooting in technical incidents and remaining calm under pressure - Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the wider IT team - A keen interest in AV tech and the direction on where it's going/new processes - Experience in creating user documents - To be part of a shift/on-call rota basis to support with events and the resolution of major incidents **About the organisation**: They deliver IT to 15,000 users and are an industry leader in terms of their innovation and creativity.
