Import Customer Service Coordinator

A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for an**Import Customer Service Coordinator** for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in Basildon.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prioritise the workflow to ensure all aspects of work are carried out in a timely manner
- Work closely with the team to ensure the highest possible operational performance and customer service
- Develop and maintain communication and relationships with the customers and suppliers
- Ensure all the relevant information and instructions from customers are received in order to complete customs clearance on imports to allow release of cargo
- Take ownership of accounting issues and queries as and when directed by management
- Complete weekly & month end routines as directed by your line manager.

**Requirements**:

- Good Ocean Freight knowledge on Imports
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Computer literate
- Excellent team player

**Hours**:
Monday to Friday: 9am-5.30pm
