**Job Overview**

EnteroBiotix have an exciting opportunity for a **Donor Research Assistant **to join the team. You will be working closely with the donor operations team, reporting directly to the Head of Donor Operations and your work will include closely maintaining donor relationships and documentation which are pivotal to the success of our donor programme. We have an increased demand for taking and processing donations from donors, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the compliance and ethical standards are met.

**What will you be responsible for?**

Key roles and activities, will include but not be limited to:

- Assisting with donor recruitment, consenting and retention activities.
- Preparing, recording, and storing documents via GMP/GDPR regulated procedures and SOPs.
- Inputting data into spreadsheets and logs.
- Maintain Good Clinical Practice & GMP training.
- Assist in the completion and update of Quality documentation.
- Assist with the archiving of controlled documentation as directed.
- Assist with the filing testing reports in line with SOPs, alongside reporting positive results to donors, GP & Grampian Health Protection.
- Assist with the maintenance and ordering of stock as directed.
- Assist with completion of incidents/CAPAs in relation to donor testing and procedures alongside maintaining communications with testing laboratories.
- Implement changes to operational processes and performance to embed continuous improvement.
- Assisting with delivery collection services from donors, on an ad-hoc basis within the team.
- Providing safe Phlebotomy services to the Donor Recruitment and Operations team, which includes supporting and taking routine blood tests from Donors to ensure the ongoing quality of donor material, which includes labelling samples correctly and clearly.

**What are we looking for?**
- Proven experience within a similar role.
- Phlebotomy experience desired however not essential, must be willing to be trained in phlebotomy.
- Experience of working within regulated industry such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, clinical trials, or a biomedical setting.
- Working knowledge of HSE guidelines and requirements.
- Ability to work in a dynamic GMP environment and to constantly adapt as required in alignment with compliance and business needs.
- Must display personal accountability for results and integrity.
- A willingness and ability to learn new processes and technical techniques.
- An ability to work autonomously with demonstrated organisational skills to manage and prioritise work effectively.
- Able to demonstrate problem solving, decision making and influencing skills
- Right to work in the UK.
