Sparshatt Truck & Van Ltd has been synonymous with Mercedes-Benz in Kent for 40 years. Today the group operates four well-established sales and service sites across the county, employing over 220 staff.

We currently have a vacancy for a Parts Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our busy team at our state-of-the-art Dartford depot. As our Warehouse Operative, you will report to the parts manager to support the services offered to our customers while meeting the standards of the Mercedes-Benz brand as our Parts Team, reporting to the Parts Supervisor, you will support the services offered to our customers while meeting the standards of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

**Your duties will include**:

- Duties include routing, sorting, and loading prior to delivery and collection of Parts in the Kent and Surrounding areas.
- To make sure all parts are accurately and promptly picked and despatched.
- To accurately return parts to the correct shelf location when no longer required.
- To keep the warehouse and serving areas clean and tidy.
- To assist the warehouse team in the return of surcharge units back to supplier.
- To assist the warehouse team in locating and maintaining the warranty/R&M storage, and complete disposals and returns as requested.
- Manage all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the Mercedes-Benz experience is delivered to all contacts at all times.

**Requirements**:

- A full clean driving licence (minor points may be considered).
- Experience of driving a large size vehicle is essential
- Applicants must be keen, customer focused, conscientious and hardworking.
- Punctuality, flexibility and reliability are key to this role.
- Understanding of driver regulations and laws Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read, write and identify Part numbers and descriptions
- Ability to work under pressure
- Previous parts department/stock control experience an advantage but not essential
