Explore Group are partnered with a rapidly growing consultancy that consults on a number of projects with a wide array of clients. They have an urgent requirement for an **AWS Platform Engineer.**

My client consults on projects across the public and private sector, and this particular role is with one of their public sector clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that the cloud platforms and solutions are fit for purpose, and this would be based on their end-client's requirements.
- Assisting in planning, designing, implementing, maintaining and documenting scalable and reliable infrastructure and products in complex environments.
- Working according to professional engineering practices, including coding standards and reviews, source control management, design and operations processes following site reliability engineering principles & AWS Well Architect Framework.

**Requirements**:

- **Active DV Clearance, or SC Clearance willing to undergo DV Clearance.**:

- Hybrid working in either Leeds or London, the requirement to be onsite may increase or decrease depending on the workload.
- Proven experience of working in an AWS Cloud Environment.
- Software Engineering skills (Java, Ruby, Python, Go)
- Detailed understanding of containers and container orchestration such as Docker, EKS, Kubernetes.
