Full time and part time position available.

We are a family-run organisation that offers a range of care services throughout South Tyneside, Washington and Sunderland.

We are recruiting for a Care Coordinator. With a team of care workers to lead, you’ll supervise, manage and monitor their progress. You will be primarily office based at our Sunderland office, coordinating care visits using our computer system, but when the need arises you will be also working in the community conducting care duties.

Duties will include;
Scheduling care staff to Service User’s in a specific area using rostering software
- Liaising with and directing care staff and Service Users
- Developing a strong relationship with staff, Service User’s and others in your area
- Covering our out-of-hours phone on a shared rotation basis
- Providing Care if needed to our service users

Required experience;
- Care work experience
- Coordinator experience
- Health and Social Care Diploma or NVQ minimum level 2 or working towards

You will;
- Be able to meet deadlines
- Work calmly under pressure in a busy office environment
- Have an excellent telephone manner and good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Work well in a team
- Strong IT skills
- Have a great sense of humour

We will provide full training and support

You must have a full clear DBS (We will provide)

You must hold a current full drivers’ license and have use of a car.

**Salary**: £10.70 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
- care coordinating: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
