Group IT Cyber Security Officer

If you have previous experience in IT security roles with a proven knowledge of knowledge and competence in the cybersecurity field, including knowledge of various standards such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, COBIT, PCI and ideally security qualificationssuch as GCIH, CISSP, SSCP, CISA then we have a great opportunity for you.
This brand new role within a leading logistics company, is a great opportunity to lead and manage their IT Cyber Security.
You will have the ability to assess and benchmark security controls in common cloud platforms including Office 365, Google Suite, Azure as well as the creation, review, and improvement the overall Group IT security policies and procedures. Creating, reviewing,development and rollout of technical security designs, standards, and support policies
Setting up new group wide hybrid SOC with a designated partner and improve the security operation process, Acting as high-level security incident escalation point for the company and lead security investigations and corresponding remediation tasks and takingownership of the organisation's security strategic framework and implementation plan, including the creating and maintenance of ISMS.
This hybrid role will be based in their offices near Hatfield in Herts, along with home working and ad-hoc visits to their office in Sussex.
