An exciting opportunity has become available within our business, due to natural growth. We are looking for an experienced transport planner. You will be joining a small but busy transport office within a fast growing business. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop with the business and be a direct part of it's success.

The hours for this role are 0700-1700 Monday - Friday.

The Duties include (but not limited to):

- Planning routes for drivers, taking in to account load size, load weight, mileage, timings, drivers hours, congestion zones etc.
- Problem solving, this includes re-planning routes/loads at short notice.
- Communicating with drivers throughout the day and dealing with any issues that arise.
- Operating on the Courier Exchange platform (Experience an advantage but not essential).
- Provide a very high level of customer service, in order to build relationships with drivers, internal and external customers.
- Quoting customers when required.
- General office duties.

Your qualities we are looking for:

- A planning background within the transport industry, dealing with drivers and customers.
- The ability to work well under pressure in a busy transport environment.
- Good attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A positive, willing and helpful attitude.
- The ability to multi-task.
- Good IT skills (Excel spreadsheet essential).
- Be flexible with start and finish times when required.
- Romanian speaking is an advantage but not essential.
