Telecoms Network Surveyor

Cable & Splicing Services (CASS) is a telecommunications contracting specialist business established for over 25 years in UK.

We are currently recruiting for experienced and accredited Telecoms Network Surveyor long term work in the Hereford area.

**We will be holding a recruitment event at our Stratford-upon-Avon Training Centre on Friday 27th September where we hope to fill these roles.**

You will be Singleton worker surveying Poles & Network Chambers on Openreach PIA and client owned infrastructure within the highways / street works environment and in customer premises where required, and it is therefore required that you be well versed in underground and overhead working.

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager and Field Support Manager, you will deliver a friendly, personable service at all times, as you will be dealing with members of the public..

**We’re looking for someone who can.**
- Survey Poles and OH routes
- Survey Network Chambers and UG routes
- Liaise by phone with the project office team

**The right person will**
- Read and understand technical drawing and specification sheets to install fibre optic cable
- Collection of data and production of as-built information as required
- Site survey reports (Overhead, underground and the proposal of alternative routes).
- Liaising with both colleagues and customers; keeping in regular contact with office staff & team leader.
- Appropriate use of safety equipment and procedures, ensuring H&S/Highways guidelines for safe roadside / pathway working are always followed and implemented and in depth understanding and appreciation of the Street works considerations.
- Working in accordance with Health and Safety requirements for CASS Engineers and Customers.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- SA001, SA002, S7, S8 or equivalent as a minimum
- NRSWA unit 2
- NOPS Smart Awards Card - CASS will not engage you without one
- PIA experience desirable but not essential
- Previous experience working at height from a ladder and cabling from up to 11m telegraph poles
- Experience in lone working and health and safety requirements that are specific to working at height
- Have a current full UK manual driving license
- Clear DBS

Pay: £120.00-£180.00 per day
