**Future Teachers Programme**

The programme is designed to help address the teacher shortages across England & Wales by attracting bright graduates who are considering a career in teaching, but wish to gain practical experience before enrolling in initial teacher training (ITT).

You will begin your journey to teaching working at one or a number of our client Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and SEN Schools near where you live for up to a year, starting ASAP.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor, you will engage in a range of tasks to get a full feel of what it would be like to be a teacher, from supporting pupils with their studies in small groups and 1:1, to assisting class teachers across alldepartments including your specialism and getting involved with planning/delivering your own lessons

**The role**

**Key responsibilities**
- Providing support within the classroom wherever required
- Delivering activities on one-to-one or small group basis
- Ensuring children are engaged
- Adapting to every individual pupil’s needs
- Helping with behaviour management of children
- Creating displays of children’s work
- Promote healthy eating and hygiene
- Keep accurate records of intervention on pupil intervention logs
- Implement the aims, policies and stated ethos of the school
- Prior experience working with children
- Relevant qualification
- Subject knowledge
- Reputable references
- UK resident
- UK driving license

**Working with Teaching Personnel will give you the freedom to be flexible in your work. You will have access to your own diary where you will be able to decide when you're available to work. This can be changed as frequently as required.**
