Job Overview: We are looking for a driven and passionate individual to join our Popspecs Kiosk in Churchill Square Centre Brighton for a **part time role to work at our Brighton Branch.** Who are we? We are Pop Specs We are here to change the optics industry. We provide cool, fashionable and unique, high quality prescription eyewear at a low price from our mid-mall kiosks across the UK. We don’t just have a brilliant range of frames but also the glasses are made in 20 minutes Pop Specs motto is "Changing the way you buy eyewear" because that is exactly what we are doing. Glasses are traditionally seen as an expensive endeavour but here at Pop Specs we want to have fashionable frames you love to wear, at an affordable price with the added bonus of a receiving them in 20 minutes. As an Optical Assistant, your role revolves around our customers. So as well as making sales, helping with queries and guiding customers on the best glasses for them you will also be involved in actually making your customers glasses Benefits include: - A free pair of glasses - Discount for friends and family - Access to discount on travel - Access to wellbeing resources including counselling - Career progression opportunities **Duties**: - Manage spectacle orders and repairs, including frame adjustments. - Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management system. - Provide guidance to patients on frame selection and lens options and making sales - Support in the maintenance of the optical laboratory and equipment. - Being involved in the spectacle making process with a fast turnaround Qualifications: - **Previous experience working in an optician's practice is desirable or previous sales experience**: - Knowledge of ocular anatomy and basic laboratory procedures is advantageous. - Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. - Proficiency in using optical equipment and computer systems. - A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
