**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate a 3.5t van to transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload goods efficiently, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with the vehicle as needed, utilising mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise delivery routes and improve overall efficiency.
- Uphold excellent communication skills when interacting with clients, providing outstanding customer service at all times.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with 3.5t vans.
- Commercial driving licence is essential; additional certifications are advantageous.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable, showcasing familiarity with loading procedures and inventory management.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers alike.

**Job Types**: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 70 per week
