We are working with an exciting Global manufacturer that supplies plastic packaging solutions to a range of customers throughout the world. Due to a recent change in the company’s structure, they now have an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join the team.

**What You Will Do**:
This is a highly visible role which offers an ambitious and dynamic individual the opportunity to showcase their ability. As the HR Generalists, you will have proven track record in managing all aspects of HR in a busy, highly pressurised manufacturing environment.
- To work with the Factory Manage to develop and implement best people strategies
- To identify key employees across site at all levels and introduce personal development plans for effective succession planning
- Develop and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all Employment Law regulations.
- To work with offsite payroll managers to ensure people are receiving accurate rates of pay on correct pay dates
- To manage financial budget including site recruitment and training related expenditure
- Ensure vacancies are appointed in a timely manner to support the demands of the business.
- To contribute and encourage good communication around the site
- To be available for any out of hour HR issues
- To monthly report HR Topics to the Regional Management Team and report the weekly HR Topics to the Factory Management Team
- The Housekeeping of all Berry Data Systems on a Weekly & Monthly basis.
- Manage and monitor Time and Attendance System ensuring Working Time Regulations are being adhered too.
- Monitor all absence and attendance in the business.
- Communicate Pay and Pension related issues to the site.
- Participation in any external audits ie BRC, ISO, Willis

**What You Will Have**:

- CIPD Level 5 as a minimum
- Experience using a Time and Attendance monitoring system and experience with Payroll.
- A proven record of success in a Senior level position within a busy manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years Senior experience responsible for the day-to-day operations contributing the HR perspective to the management of staff
- A proven ability to work in a confidential environment
- Familiarity of managing change projects and able to advise management of appropriate practice
- Ability to work alongside other all levels of Management
- Ability to contribute to motivating a workforce
- Ability to professionally Mediate difficult conversations between Management and employee’s
- Good working knowledge of Employment Law would be highly desirable
- Ability to hold difficult conversations with all employees to reduce escalation to the Factory Manager
- Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.
- Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy.

**The salary**:

- Salary £35,000 - £40,000
