Domestic Assistant

Hillcrest Nursing Home is a 42 bed home, set in the beautiful Shropshire village of Minsterley. Please note we are in a rural setting 10/15mins walk from the nearest bus stop.

We are looking for a Domestic who takes pride in their work and has a friendly demeanour to join our supportive team. The position will be working alternate weekends, flexible on contracted hours but up to 30 hrs a week.

**Responsibilities of a Domestic Assistant**:

- Helps to maintain a safe, healthy and pleasant environment.
- Ensures the linen and residents clothes are kept clean and in a good state of repair at all times.
- Ensure that residents clothes are labelled with correct ID
- Maintain linen stores in a clean and organised manner
- Carries out cleaning duties in accordance with the homes requirements.
- Reports any defects faults or maintenance requirements to cleaning equipment or furnishings.
- Uses and stores cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Ensures adequate cleaning supplies are available at all times.
- Helps to maintain a safe, healthy and pleasant environment for colleagues and Service Users.
- Ensures the facility and all furnishings are clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensures that all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50 per hour
