Five Education is supporting Mainstream and Specialist Primary and Secondary schools in Bristol and Bath. We are looking for qualified Teachers to join us with the willingness to work with SEN students. Teachers must have an understanding of SEN as manyof the students have SEND or mental health needs. Newly qualified teachers are welcome, but experience teaching small groups and working with children is essential.
Having the ability to calm children down is desirable with confidence to lead a class of children. These roles are temporary at the moment but have the potential to become long-term if you get along well with the school. We offer rewarding and unique placementswith excellent rates of pay and regular S.E.N training and support from us.
Essential Criteria:
At least 12 months of experience working with children/vulnerable adults
QTS status
A flexible and resourceful approach
Patient and able to relate to the students
Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
Two recent child based references and relevant DBS/ Police checks
Access to bicycle, car, or near main bus routes.
Able to work 8.30-3.30, 4-5 days per week term time only
Responsibilities and duties:
Supporting the student in the class
Using behaviour management techniques to keep students calm and maintain a safe working environment
Assisting the student in their work
Working 1:1 and in small groups
Implementing behaviour management tools in line with the school's policy

Successful applicants will be required to undergo checks including reference checks,TRA checks, and will need to have a DBS; there will also be a face-to-face interview.
