Job Title:
Production Operator

Summary:
The postholder will run production vessels and ancillary equipment/facilities, including operating forklift trucks during the 10pm-6am shift (Sunday to Friday). They will also follow Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that form part of their daily tasks.

Responsibilities Include:
- Safe and effective operation of a manufacturing plant and ancillary equipment, including forklift trucks.- Housekeeping of the plant and area- Compliance with standards for quality and consumption of material- Routine batch manufacture- Perform in-process testing of batches being manufactured- Correct filling out of all batch sheets- Adhering to all guidance given by supervisors- Adhering to all health & safety guidelines

Qualifications:
The following are _required _for the role- Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard, must include English and Math

The following are preferred for the role:
- Health and Safety, Manual Handling, qualifications- Computer literate (including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel) and the ability to use the Company's bespoke internal IT systems
