We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, the prestigious Peterborough School. Due to internal promotions we are looking for a Childcare Practitioner to join our professional and busy team.

The Peterborough School (TPS) is an Independent Day School delivering exceptional education and nurturing children from Nursery through to Sixth Form. The Nursey, based at the school, was founded in 2002 in the beautiful campus setting providing an oasis in which children can learn and grow up, while enabling access to the amenities of Peterborough.

As a Childcare Practitioner, you will be qualified to Level 2 in EYFS and have some experience of working in a similar environment.

You will be be passionate about providing the very best care and learning to the small and large groups of children attending the Nursery, with the ability to communicate effectively with their parents/guardians regarding their progress.

Who we are looking for:

- GCSE qualification in Maths and English Grade C or above or equivalent
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 or currently working towards
- Previous experience of working in Baby Room / Early Years Foundation Stage
- Ability to work within a small team
- Ability to maintain and complete records and documentation
- Ability to promote positive behaviour
- Have good observation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication

- **There will be shift patterns which include 7:30am - 4:30pm, 8:00am - 6:00pm with half day off, 8:00am - 5:00pm**:
