HR Apprentice

We're looking for an Apprentice to join our ambitious and friendly Human Resources team to support the HR Operations and Learning & Development sub teams.
You will be required to complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship within 18 months of commencing your employment. This role is offered as an 18 month Apprenticeship contract.
**Learning & Development**:
To support the L&D Coordinator in ensuring all appraisals are completed and produce reports as required using Performance Leader and About Me
Process annual membership renewals for staff
Organise internal training events from start to finish liaising with external training providers and reception/facilities to ensure the process runs smoothly.
Book and organise payment for all external training coursesProcess routine L&D queries and respond accordingly
Maintain training and development records to ensure compliance with audits
Process invoices and record all central expenditure on excel
To undertake administration relating to training, workshops and development activities (including scheduling programmes - booking appointments and rooms)
To undertake the preparation, publishing and distribution of workshop materials
**Operational HR**:
Acting on all general HR queries and escalate queries as appropriate to team members
Manage HR Team post on a daily basis, taking action on specific correspondence
Ensure all Employee files are up to date and documents are saved in the correct locations
Ensure absence is accurately logged on the HR database and fit notes are received and uploaded.
Ensure return to work forms/self certifications are completed following absence
Staff holiday queries and ensure database is up to date
General staff queries on About Me
Supporting team with typing and other administrative duties and projects as required
To carry out any other duty as requested by the HR Advisors, L&D Advisor and Director of HR
