GCU have a requirement for a Hiab Grab Driver for our Dundee depot.

The Grab Driver will service our utilities gangs working on a new build telecoms project. This will involve multiple drops/pick-ups across the working gangs.

Key Responsibilities:

- To transport aggregates / materials
- Responsible for ensuring site staff who undertake excavation and reinstatement works have support by means of couriering and collecting aggregates, material and signs plus clearing of sites
- Remove spoil and waste materials and dispose of as instructed
- Liaise with the planning/management and on-site teams throughout the working day to facilitate the completion of planned tasks
- Negotiate and manoeuvre your vehicle within tight utility sites in busy public areas
- Complete allocated work(s) and work records within the planned timescales to high safety and quality standards
- Operate in a professional manner in line with sector specific procedures, regulations and current legislation
- Operate plant and equipment
- Comply with legal and legislative policies and procedures in relation to health safety and environmental policies
- Ensure the security of vehicle, plant and equipment
- Complete daily operational/maintenance checks on your vehicle
- Be prepared to provide other reasonable duties in line with requirements of the company
- Working alongside groundwork civils crews installing kerbs, tactile paving, tarmac patch resurfacing

Skills and Qualifications
- An experienced and qualified Hiab Grab Driver. With past experience in servicing utility gangs.
- Appropriate Licence to operate and drive a Hiab Grab Truck
- Experience working on-site in a Utilities / telecommunications environment.
- Chapter 8 knowledge.
- NRSWA Operative ticket is desirable.
