**About us**

We're opening a new service, this is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the new development which will be providing residential care and support to 5 people with learning disabilities.

**About you**

Do you have previous experience working in care, leading a team and want to further your development within a Team Leader role?

This is an opportunity for a pro-active Team Leader to join an evolving Care Company. You will need to have previous experience of working within a care role and experience of leading a team and administering medications would be advantageous.

**The Role**

The Team Leader will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and by doing so ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead support and care is delivered at all times. You will complete evidence based supervisions and observation supervisions as well as supporting your team of support workers to complete competency based appraisals.

To oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. You will design, develop and maintain excellent service user records. Working in a supportive manner that empowers the service user to live their life in their chosen manner.
