A Head of Private Client is needed to join an established high street law firm based in the centre of Gloucester. With direct supervision across all aspects of the Private Client Department expect to play an integral role overseeing and progressing things forward on your way to becoming Partner.

With historic ties that date back to the mid nineteenth century, this established and well-respected high street law firm have a strong presence across the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire area and have so for the past 150+ years. Joining their Gloucester branch as their Head of Private Client expect a friendly, collaborative and flexible working environment with a strong existing client base.

As the Head of Private Client, you'll be at the helm of the department, orchestrating seamless operations and setting the bar high for compliance and procedural excellence. Your role encompasses everything from meeting clients and providing steadfast leadership to mentoring and empowering the wider team of more junior legal professionals. With your hands-on approach and professional outlook, you'll ensure clients receive unparalleled service whilst ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory adherence.

**To qualify**: You should be a Head of Private Client (or similar) with a CV that demonstrates the following:

- Experience gained acting as a fee earner in Wills and Probate cases;
- Leadership experience;
- Communication and interpersonal skills;
- Membership to a professional body;
- IT literacy including the ability to use case management systems;
- A courteous, considerate and respectful outlook to clients and team members.
- STEP membership is advantageous._
