Wayleave Officer

Established in 2021, AllPoints Fibre has grown from regional roots in Jurassic Fibre, Giganet and Swish Fibre, to establish a national wholesale network.

To help us achieve this mission we need a **Wayleave Officer** to take us on this journey.

We are on the look out for a Wayleave Officer to join us on an initial **10 month fixed term contract**. You will be responsible for the day to day permissions for access agreements of private land/roads within the fibre network build area. We are looking for someone who can communicate expectations, objectives and successful outcomes when working with land owners, councils, landlords, and partners, and can provide clear directions and delegate tasks.

**What you will be doing**:

- Investigate land registry and other information sources to establish land or property ownership.
- Build strong relations with internal and external teams & third parties including Local Authority agencies.
- Assist in the preparation of Wayleave Agreements.
- Resolve disputes over wayleave rights, land ownership queries.
- Enforce Code Powers where necessary.
- Requesting and booking surveys (MDU)
- Checking and agreeing surveys with stakeholders (MDU)
- Project Managing the installation to completion (MDU)
- Checking Asbuilts are in line with survey reports (MDU)
- Attending joint site surveys with build partner and planning.
- Driving consistency, quality, suitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Obtain approvals for Business Cases against the cost delivery of a Private Road or building.
- Support Planning and Project department with advice and the timely delivery of consents.
- Be responsible for the central document management, monitoring and reporting on all wayleaves.
- Be involved in the continuous improvement of Wayleave management processes and tools.
- Escalate issues as they arise to ensure action is taken.
