If so then you could be perfect for my client. They're looking to recruit an Operations Technician for their business.
Please note: In this position you'll be needed to work some weekends and occasionally work some shifts in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview.
The Role:
In the Operations Technician role you'll report to the Service Manager and will be primarily responsible for operating the dewatering equipment, located at various sites in the UK, full training will be given.
Specific tasks include:
- Operating and carrying out first-line maintenance on our range of mobile separation equipment
- Optimizing machine settings to achieve desired processing parameters
- Assisting service engineers when on-site or at the company workshop
This is a field-based role covering the M4 Corridor, so if field-based work doesn't suit you please do not apply.
To be considered for the Operations Technician role you will need to demonstrate a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
It's important that you also have the following:
- A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Confidence when dealing with customers
- A willingness to learn if the industry is new to you
You'll also need to be the following:
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Able to work shifts (5 days on 2 days off, or 10 days on, 4 days off)
- Able to work unsupervised, sometimes at remote sites

The Package:
The basic salary for the Operations Technician role is between £22,000 - £26,000 per annum.
You can also earn overtime in this role which could amount to an extra £10,000 per annum.
