**Job Title**: Zoo Keeper (Mammals)
**Location**: Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Surrey, KT9 2NE
**Hours**: This role is full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required by the business.

**About the Role**

We are Chessington World of Adventures Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments The resort is currently going through a period of growth with exciting developments in the pipeline.

We are currently recruiting for a Zoo Keeper for the mammal section on a full time and permanent basis. You will be working alongside Gorillas, Spider Monkeys, Squirrel Monkeys, Callitrichids, Asiatic lions, Amur Tigers and various smaller carnivores amongst many more species. In this role you will be working within the carnivore and primate teams and take an active role in the day to day running of our awesome collection. This will include delivering excellent standards of animal husbandry and a fantastic guest experience. You will be part of a team creating the most stimulating environment possible - not just for our guests, but for the animals too - and since we’re big on conservation, education and research, you’ll have a big part to play in that too. You will also be keen to support all areas within our zoo, which will in turn benefit your own personal development. You will ensure the health & safety of yourself, visitors and guests at all times as well as develop a personal training programme in conjunction with your head of section.
